Meet The Team

David Greenaway BDS LDS Dentist and Practice Principal.

David qualified from Guys Hospital in 1981, and has been in general practice ever since, He has been looking after the teeth of the residents of Denmead and surrounding areas since 1987. He is committed to preventive care and central to this philosophy are regular check-ups to monitor for any abnormalities and hygienist therapy to provide advanced cleaning for patients.

David takes a special interest in cosmetic treatments including smile design and tooth whitening. Outside dentistry and running the business David enjoys outdoor activities such as golf and sailing.

Conor Mulcahy BA. B Dent Sci, MSc.

Conor qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 1986. He has lived and worked in the Portsmouth area since 1990. In 1997 he gained a Masters degree in Prosthetic Dentistry from Guy`s Hospital, London.

Conor`s dental philosophy is Conservative with a big “C” in that he believes in providing the minimum amount of dentistry that is required to help you to keep your teeth for life. As such he supports the Practice`s commitment to regular examinations, maintenance and dental hygiene.

In addition to general dentistry Conor has a particular interest in caring for people who have lost most or all of their teeth and those who may be faced with significant tooth loss in the future. He has considerable experience in providing high quality dentures and restoring dental implants.

Conor is married to Hazel and has two children. His outside interests include travel, hiking, good food and he is currently a primary school governor.

Jackie Peaty, Hygienist.

Jackie qualified in 1993 from R.A.D.C. Aldershot and has worked as a dental hygienist at Denmead Dental Practice ever since. Her interests outside dentistry include Formula 1 motor racing, property renovation, and interior decorating.

Davina Gray, Hygienist.

Davina qualified in 1977 from Edinburgh Dental Hospital, and joined us in 2006.

Outside her work, Davina enjoys the outdoor life, especially caravanning and walking.

Jackie and Davina are both members of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy. They attend frequent courses and lectures to maintain registration and update their skills.

Sian Stephenson, Receptionist.

Sian, trained as a dental nurse when she left school and has worked in dental practices since. She joined Denmead Dental in 1996 and warmed to it’s caring, family style. She enjoys welcoming patients and has built up a good rapport with them.

Yvonne Crockford, Receptionist.

Yvonne, joined the practice in 2004 and really enjoys working on the front desk, meeting and greeting patients and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. She enjoys her role in the friendly, caring and professional team at Denmead Dental.

Sarah Thompson, Dental Nurse and Receptionist.

Sarah ,qualified from Highbury College in 1997 and has since built up good rapport with fellow members of staff and patients alike. She takes a great deal of pride, in the smooth running of both surgeries and the high standards of cross infection control at Denmead Dental.

Leah Randle, Dental Nurse and Receptionist.

Leah started nursing at the practice in 2004 and qualified with an NVQ in dental nursing from Highbury College in 2006. She enjoys being part of a modern, progressive practice and one that believes in prevention rather than cure.
